This free tool by Macrostash allows you to geocode multiple points by dragging and dropping a marker across the map. You can move the map to an area that you are interested in (click Move). You can type in a zip-code, city, location, or address to center the map. Once you have centered over the area, you can add markers to the map (click Add Markers). The markers will show up in the center of your map, and then you can move them to positions that you would like to geocode.

The map supports up to 10 geocoding markers at one time. If you would like to clear the map, just refresh your browser by hitting F5.

This tool is best for geocoding points multiple locations in a relatively small geographic area. Also it can be used to correct geocodes after using a batch geocoding tool, because often times batch geocoding services will result in positions that have a margin of error. I like to use the satellite view to find the exact building, which I'm trying to geocode, and drop the marker over it.

Note: This tool uses Google Maps API for the geocodes and map. Also you must enable JavaScript.
